Commencement of Pilot Testing for Let’s Walk Application at ADCH
Let’s Walk Children’s Haven has officially commenced pilot testing of its digital health application at ADCH. The purpose of this pilot is to ensure that the application meets the highest standards of clinical practice.
The testing process is designed to incorporate feedback from physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring the platform remains clinically relevant and responsive to patient needs. By engaging frontline experts, the pilot will refine the application’s functionality and strengthen its role in supporting evidence-based rehabilitation for children.
AU-NEPAD recently delivered a high-impact interactive session with students at the University of Zambia (UNZA). The program incorporated practical AI skills training, career pathway mapping, youth-led innovation, and discussions on ethical AI within the African context. It also provided insights into access to continental opportunities. Let’s Walk Children’s Haven was honored to be invited to participate and share our journey, showcasing how grassroots innovation can drive meaningful change.
Let’s Walk Children’s Haven has donated customized supportive chairs to families at ADH Children’s Hospital. These specialized chairs are designed to stabilize children living with cerebral palsy, helping to reduce complications that often arise in home settings. Each chair is tailor-made with input from caregivers and clinicians, ensuring that the design meets the unique needs of every child.
This initiative reflects our commitment to improving quality of life, enhancing safety, and supporting families in providing effective home-based care.
