In 2025, Let’s Walk Children’s Haven participated in IndabaX Zambia, a landmark gathering of researchers, innovators, and policymakers shaping ethical and inclusive AI solutions for Africa. We presented our research on “Addressing Barriers to Paediatric Physiotherapy Access for Cerebral Palsy Patients in Zambia”, highlighting gaps in access, caregiver support, and consistency of care. Our work proposed AI‑powered platforms like Let’s Walk as scalable, community‑driven solutions. This milestone reaffirmed our commitment to integrating digital innovation into Zambia’s health strategy as a bridge to equity and inclusion.

African Youth in AI & Robotics Competition 2025
In 2025, Let’s Walk Children’s Haven was honored with 2nd Place in the Presidential Category of the African Youth in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Competition, selected from over 3,200 submissions across the continent. The award was presented at the G20 AI for Africa Conference in Cape Town, in the presence of global AI leaders and African Union dignitaries. Our solution, Let’s Walk, rooted in digital health equity and youth empowerment, was recognized as a bold and inclusive innovation for pediatric care. This achievement reflects the power of African youth to shape real‑world solutions and reaffirms our commitment to scaling impact for children with diverse disorders.

This milestone showcased our commitment to inclusive health technology, strengthened by collaborations with partners such as AUDA‑NEPAD and TReND in Africa, who helped refine our coding and machine learning skills. Presenting as a team underscored the collective spirit behind Let’s Walk, and reaffirmed our vision of advancing pediatric rehabilitation through innovation and collaboration across Africa.
